I have this strange fascination with sin. Yes, sin. I know that it is a taboo subject. Even most churches will not talk about it. I am obsessed with the curse that is on all of us, in fact all of creation, because of sin. We can thank Adam and Eve for our fallen state, but that does not release us from the responsibility to conduct our lives in accordance with the desires of our Creator.

This blog intends to point out where our failings are, and how men are responsible to lead lives that are pleasing to God. I will make the case that from the Garden of Eden, men have had a pattern of not leading in the way God has called us. All through history, and especially today, the majority of the trouble in the world comes as a result of men failing to be the MEN God has designed us to be.

Over the next few weeks, I will lay the ground work that shows how depraved we are, why we are responsible and how we can make a difference in the world by acting the way we have been called to act. No, we are not going to eliminate sin. You still won't be able to go a day without committing at least one sin. But if we understand it, we can make better decisions in our lives. Everything we do affects our worldview, the media we take in, the activities we engage in, the people we befriend. This in turn affects the people we put in office to shape our communities, our states, our country.

The bottom line is the actions of men in this generation, shape the actions of men in the next generation. Is anyone pleased with how this is going?
